I will never say goodbye to you 
You are the better part of me 
He will pilot us together
Meet us in our time of need

The air is so thick, it’s hard to breathe. The sun is shining gently onto my shoulders, diffused through large clouds drifting across the sky. My stomach is turning. 

Why can’t I say what I want to say? Why can’t I do what I want to do? Is there solace in calling this virtue?

Yet, I am resolved. I can’t let you go. I will die on this hill. I will not despair. Blessed beyond measure. Reap restoration. Blessed by my beloved, and I know we cannot be overcome. 

Weary and wanting, we will regain our strength and make ground when we are aligned. Please don’t let me go as we step further into the mystery. There is no window closing. Nothing is lost. The light is only growing. There is abundance. There is happiness in hope and rest for the weary. 

So, let's rest, assured. 

We will try a new way. We won’t lose heart. Did He not give us to one another for a purpose?
